Out initial Rates (through November 30, 2008) are $100 for attending members, $35 for supporting members. (Attending memberships will increase to $125 on December 1, 2008.) Membership does not include a ticket to the World Fantasy Awards Banquet. We will make an announcement when banquet tickets are available.

Tickets for the 2009 World Fantasy Awards Banquet are now on sale. There will be a choice of a beef, chicken, or vegetarian menu. Banquet tickets are $75 per person or $750 for a table of ten. You must be a member of the convention to purchase banquet tickets, and every person holding a ticket must be a member of the convention.

Due to a scheduling conflict with the hotel, the 2009 World Fantasy Convention in San José, California will be held one week earlier than previously announced. The new dates are Thursday, October 29 through Sunday, November 1, 2009. The venue remains unchanged: the Fairmont San José. Any person who purchased a membership for the originally announced dates of November 5-8, 2009 will have the opportunity for a full refund of his/her membership if they are unable to attend on the new dates.
