Implications of the Global Economic Crisis for East Asia
The programme for the World Economic Forum on East Asia is designed to generate insight on building a common agenda for revitalizing the global economy through new models of growth, technologies and corporate practice. Additionally, it will provide an opportunity to discuss the expanding leadership roles of Asia's G20 members, which is set against the focus of the new US administration on strengthening the trans-Pacific alliance. To that end, a select group of 300 senior public figures, corporate executives and thought leaders will convene to facilitate steps towards greater international and regional cooperation.
The meeting is a private event by invitation only.
