World City at The Music Center: Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience October 13, 2012

Celebrating the indigenous music of the French-speaking Creoles of south central and south west Louisiana, Grammy Award-winning musician Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience comes to World City at The Music Center to take audiences on a journey to explore the heritage and sounds of the multicultural and multiracial African Americans! If that’s not enough, children can also enjoy workshops that explore the featured culture through unique art-making projects.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary, World City audiences will receive a World City Explorer Passport, distributed at each performance. Part geo-quest, part travel journal, collect stamps from each World City and fill in the travel journal with your wonderful memories! (While supplies last)
