Condemned as a terrorist organization, Hamas is a complex organization whose existence has far-reaching implications for the region. What is the organization’s role? Australian journalist of the year Paul McGeough takes an in-depth look at the rise of Hamas and its prospects for the future. McGeough is the author of Kill Khalid, a history of Hamas and its notorious leader, Khalid Mishal.
