The World Affairs Council will be showing select photos from the travelling exhibit, "Jam Session: America's Jazz Ambassadors Embrace the World." The remainder of the exhibit is being displayed at the Jazz Heritage Center. This exceptional collection of photographs and documents chronicles the tours of American jazz legends Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong, Dave Brubeck, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, and others as they traveled the globe on behalf of the U.S. State Department serving as cultural diplomats, transcending national boundaries, and making friends for the U.S.
