The challenge of our times is unprecedented in history. Therefore this requires each of us to take new and unprecedented actions in our lives.
In this day-long workshop through lecture, small group discussion and walking the labyrinth, we will learn ways to gain strength; looking fear, discouragement and uncertainty directly in the eyes. This workshop will also explore wisdom, an important ingredient to weather the crossroads of decision-making during these challenging times.
Lauren Artress is an ordained Episcopal priest and Honorary Canon of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. She is the author of three books on the labyrinth. Her first book – Walking a Spiritual Path: Rediscovering the Labyrinth as a Spiritual Practice – was instrumental in launching what is now known as The Labyrinth Movement. In 1995, Lauren created the non-profit Veriditas introducing thousands of labyrinths into churches, hospitals, and other settings thus facilitating the transformation of the human spirit through the labyrinth experience.
This workshop will be hosted on the Chartes-style labyrinth in Kempton Hall at Trinity Episcopal.
