The objective of this workshop is to engage the hotel industry and its service and product suppliers in a discussion about the opportunity and importance of a more environmentally responsible approach to designing, renovating, and operating their properties. The event will be useful for Hoteliers, Executives, Architects, Interior Designers, Technologists, Engineers, Academics, Students and others interested in exploring ways to benefit from the important shift toward energy efficient and environmentally responsible design principles. The workshop will be interactive and will:

* provide best practices and case studies from Romania, international properties and chains
* provide information on new greener construction, renovation, and operational possibilities
* introduce new developments with materials, technologies, and other solutions
* discuss new legislation and available fiscal incentives for green improvements in Romania.

We also offer a limited number of scholarships for interested professors and students in exchange of Associate Membership (80 hours of RoGBC service). Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
