Workshop - First Act. New Talent Theatre Workshop with Shelli Koffman (New York USA). The formative years of any young mind is also the evolution period for him/her to grow into a fine actor. This is the time to work on an actor's foundation. During this important phase, there's a lot that one observes and retains it all in one's emotion memory. The mental and physical conditioning process is also not complete by then. Thus, it is easy to work on the actor's apparatuses and mould him/her into an actor of calibre. In this 10-day intensive workshop, we focus on effective use of the actor's sensory powers by sharpening them further, and the actor's indirect and indirect responses to the surroundings. Not to mention, the in-depth knowledge that is given to the participants regarding different aspects of stagecraft, currently practiced worldwide. Here participants can explore what Energy, Physicality, Concentration, Character, Self-Awareness, Teamwork and Environment mean to an actor. This workshop is especially designed to equip actors with vital tools from the western world, so that thay are able to lend TRUTHFULNESS to any character assigned to them.
