Workshop: Film Camera Basics March 23, 2010

Learn all about 35mm and medium format film cameras and their use. All the basics will be covered, including film formats, film loading, and exposure through the use of shutter speeds, apertures, ISO, and filtration. You will learn how focus and f-stop relate to depth of field. We will discuss lenses, tripods, and other equipment.

This brief class is a good precursor to those new to photography or who may be considering our Introduction to the B&W Darkroom class.

Please bring your 35mm or medium format film camera to class, as well as a practice roll of film. If applicable, make sure your camera battery still has a charge.
