Workshop: Discover How Infants & Toddlers Learn! December 10, 2010

New Directions Institute for Infant Brain Development is offering free one-hour presentations to parents/caregivers on the latest information and techniques to "wire up" a young child's brain for a successful future. During this workshop, parents/caregivers will learn the importance of spending quality time with their children and how those bonding experiences facilitate healthy emotional development in areas of the brain critical to learning and school readiness. Parents/caregivers will also discover ways to play and interact with young children that foster healthy stimulation for the child's brain. Please note that this workshop is for new and expecting parents, grandparents and childcare providers. Children are welcome to attend the program with their parents/caregivers. Admission into the program is free with paid Museum admission. Space is limited. Online registration available on the website.
