New York Theater Workshop sent Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, the award-winning creators of The Exonerated, to Amman, Jordan in June 2008 to uncover the stories of Iraqi civilians following the invasion of Iraq. After interviewing over 35 people--a cross-section of lives interrupted--who fled the chaos for the relative safety of Jordan, Blank and Jensen turned these conversations into an unforgettable theatrical event.
