From farming to tradesmiths, there was plenty of work to be done in the early settlement days of Naperville. When all the work was complete, it was time to play. The same is true today and Naper Settlement invites visitors to spend some leisure time learning about trades, crafts, chores and games. During the month of July, enjoy a variety of activities based on the theme, "Work and Play," including tradesmen sharing their craft, rope making, laundry, food preparation, butter making, games, town ball and vintage baseball. After all, what is more American than baseball and hot dogs?
