Bill Rice regularly gives talks at the different branches of Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD), and is always well received. Mark Lang, the head of the Entrepreneurial Department often requests Bill to return to speak, because he is both truly knowledgeable and an incredibly teacher. He takes high level concepts and makes them easy for people to learn.

Bill is the founder and CEO of Kaleidico. His firm specializes in helping companies use the increasingly open and social Web to generate opportunities, source competitive intelligence, and manage their online reputation and crises.

Bill has nearly two decades of experience creating and leading software and marketing teams in a variety of industries from Internet security to financial services.

He began his career in the US Air Force; running some of the first Information Warfare counterintelligence operations, later applying this craft as a contractor to several DOD and Federal agencies. The entrepreneurial bug seized Bill and led him out of the Intelligence community and into his involvement with Iridium, a global satellite communications spin-off of Motorola; as a founding executive of DeepGreen Bank, one of the first Internet-only banks; and most recently as an executive at Quicken Loans before founding Kaleidico in 2005.

Bill holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Political Science from the United States Air Force Academy. Bill is married to his wife of 14 years and has 3 children.
