In honor of the legendary 1969 music event, a Woodstock Music Tribute will be held the weekend before the swap meet closes for the annual Orange County Fair. The Summer of Love Show will be on Saturday, July 10 and brings together six performers recreating the actual vibe, sound and feel of several rock legends from 1969’s Woodstock including Janis Joplin, John Fogerty, Sly Stone, Jim Hendrix and Arlo Guthrie to name a few.
Woodstock Mud performs on Sunday, July 11. The four member San Diego area based band will perform classic music of the 1960’s and 1970’s including the songs of renown musicians who took the stage at Woodstock.
Concerts are at noon and 2 p.m.
In addition tie dye vendors, other artisans, free face painting, hippie stilt walkers along with the hundreds of other Market Place vendors and attractions will be included.
Admission to the Woodstock event and swap meet is FREE with a canned food donation to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
