Woodlawn "Real Monsters" Fundraiser Car Wash May 2, 2009

Woodlawn Nature Center will be holding a "Real Monsters" car-wash fundraiser this Saturday, May 2, 10 am - 3 pm at Palmer’s Ace Hardware, 1635 Cassopolis Street, Elkhart, IN 46514.

Palmer’s Ace Hardware is located in one block north of Bristol Street on Cassopolis Street. The Woodland fundraiser car-wash will be held in the store parking lot. Look for the Dinosaurs!

This fundraiser is being held to raise funds for the new exhibit underway at Woodlawn Nature Center. The "Real Monsters" exhibit will be a kids-friendly, hands-on exploration of plant and animal life throughout the ages, from early sea creatures through the age of the dinosaurs to today. Focusing on both the fragility and adaptability of life on earth, the exhibit will look at major past extinction events and how creatures have adapted, changed and evolved.
