Woodlawn Harvest Market May 22, 2009

Woodlawn Harvest Market will begin May 22 and be open Fridays from 1 pm to 6 pm, rain or shine, through October 9, 2009. Featuring fresh and organic produce, handcraft items, entertainment and education, Woodlawn Harvest Market offers a convenient location for visitors to discover the wealth of Michiana's local harvest.

Local vendors participating in this year's market will include Uncle Ed's Herbs, Day Lake Apiary (honey and honey products), Griffins Organics, and Liz Smith, who offers instruction in local wild edible plants. In addition to cash, WIC (Women's, Infant's and Children) coupon acceptance will be available through WIC-approved vendors.

Woodlawn Nature Center is located at 604 Woodlawn Avenue, Elkhart, just one block off Cassopolis Street in Elkhart city, north.
