"Wood That I Could" June 22, 2007

Wood is a common theme for John Books and Jack Becker. John is a wood sculptor who loves wood and approaches his work "with great curiosity and anxiety. He is exhibiting pieces that are thoughtful, funny and sensual. Jack, a painter, is bringing "little landscpes" which he describes as "fast...a delight to do...and make me feel good." Jack has written about restoring a wooden sailboat. The weekend exhibit begins with an opening reception Friday, June 22 with the gallery and sculpture garden open during the exhibit on Saturday and Sunday.
