Wonderful Places: A National Parks Celebration September 26, 2009

Come by the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center and join a ranger for a thirty minute program which will illustrate the diversity of the National Park Service. From Yellowstone National Park to the Natchez Trace Parkway, the National Park Service helps to protect America`s special stories and places. We will take a journey across the country, and across time, to discover just a few of the over 390 national parks. The National Parks Photography exhibit will feature local photographers, junior ranger program participants, and Parkway staff`s favorite National Park photos. Stay for a sneak preview up the upcoming Ken Burns documentary, "The National Parks: America`s Best Idea", which will be showing on PBS stations starting September 27, 2009.
