WONDER IN ALICELAND, a special event by ALICE: Arts and Literacy in Children’s Education
For one night only, ALICE: Arts and Literacy in Children’s Education invites Alice in Wonderland fans to Meet ALICE Live! at Oakland’s premier movie palace, the Grand Lake Theatre. This special benefit event is part of Grand Lake Theatre’s opening day festivities for Tim Burton’s much-anticipated film ALICE IN WONDERLAND 3D.
The special event, WONDER IN ALICELAND, is dedicated to promoting ALICE: Arts and Literacy in Children’s Education, a non-profit organization that brings the wonder of dance, music, theatre and art to 3,000 Bay Area kids annually. In the past six years, ALICE has influenced the lives of 15,000 Bay Area children in the public school districts through a comprehensive series of programs that are in-school and after-school programs, assemblies, performances, exhibits, and storytelling.
Support this incredible organization with a donation, and learn more about ALICE’s upcoming aerial and dance performance, Burning Libraries (to premiere fall 2010).
Friday, March 5 throughout the day (movie showtimes are 11:30am, 2:00pm, 4:30pm, 7:15pm, 9:45pm)
