Women's Fitness Ride Kickoff Event July 10, 2011

This is a moderately paced group ride which should take about an hour to complete. We leave Ferris Wheels promptly at 9:00am. The kickoff event is a great opportunity to network! If you're interested in joining the Tuesday/Thursday paceline rides but don't want to be the only non-dude there, this is a great place to talk someone else into coming with you. Also, we may have pancakes. Stay tuned.

WHY a women's ride?

Jeffrey says: "Our Tuesday/Thursday morning paceline rides have evolved into a guy ride. We used to have a core group of women who joined us, but they have all moved on. Now we'll have the occasional woman who will come and ride with us for a few weeks and then disappear. And then we'll have another woman who'll come ride with us and then disappear . ."

A customer who enjoys paceline rides says: "I would love to meet other women who ride. I don't even know why. . . . Hey, you should try it! It's so much fun."

So let's call it a women's ride for now and see what happens. (No one will be turned away for lack of being a woman.)
