Women Without Borders April 17, 2006

April is Intercultural Month, and in honor of women's struggles for equality, peace, justice and development, Women Without Borders will be
hosting a social on Monday, April 17th, in the Manzanita Lake Room, from 3:30-6:30pm.

The purpose of this event is to create cultural awareness and support for women's issues for the students, faculty and staff of UNR, as well as the residents of Washoe County. In addition, it is our goal to generate campus and community support for the re-opening of a Women's Resource Center on campus. Come enjoy art exhibitions, various singer and songwriter performances, and an opportunity to get together with members of the community in support of what we feel is a very important cause.
