Women Traveling Solo March 3, 2009

This free Travel 101 workshop is for women of all ages who are planning to travel by themselves for the first time, or who are looking for smart tips on how to add more value and independence to their solo travel adventures.

Hear firsthand advice about the benefits and challenges of traveling solo, and get tips on research, packing, safety and health, itinerary planning, meeting locals and travelers, cultural sensitivity, and more. The focus will be on traveling in foreign countries, independently and on a budget.

This workshop is presented during Travel Education Week, a nationwide series celebrating the 100th anniversary of Hostelling International and the 75th anniversary of Hostelling International USA.
