A talk by Dr. Parvin Darabi on the horrors of blindly following religious taboos and tenets and in particular the injustices done to women living under Islamic laws. Dr. Darabi is director of the Dr. Homa Darabi Foundation http://www.homa.org/, a non-profit organization concerned with all violations of human rights, focusing on defending the rights of women and the girl child against religious, cultural and social abuse.
