WITNESS: Marian Anderson February 17, 2013

VocalEssence presents a semi-staged theatrical production about the life of Marian Anderson, an African American contralto and one of the most celebrated civil rights leaders of the 20th century. Time and time again she broke through barriers that held back people of color. This production is directed by Jon Cranney and features Marlissa Hudson (singing) and Greta Oglesby (speaking) portraying Marian Anderson.
