Wisconsin Elections: 1848-2006 October 21, 2008

Author of 'Wisconsin Votes', Professor Booth Fowler will discuss some aspects of voting in Wisconsin history such as: ethnic influences from the 1848 Constitution; the vote on women's suffrage; the tradition of third parties in Wisconsin history; recent scholarship on Robert La Follette, Sr.; the vote pattern on the Defense of Marriage Act; and, more. A book signing will follow the presentation.
