Wire Jewelry Fest July 19, 2007

Wire Jewelry Fest, the only wire jewelry festival in the United States, will be making its second annual appearance in Wilmington, Del. at the Chase Center on the Riverfront July 20-22, 2007. Wire Jewelry Fest brings together the best of the wire jewelry-making community under one roof, offering three days of hands-on jewelry making workshops and many opportunities to purchase supplies and eye-popping professionally created jewelry.

Open to the general public, this year’s event will feature more than 30 vendors with over 50 booths and nearly 50 classes taught by wire experts from around the country. Participants can register in advance or on-site for hands-on workshops at all experience levels in a variety of techniques including, wire wrapping, bead stitching, metal clay, metalsmithing, wire and beads, wire and metal, weaving, crochet, and chain maille.
