Winterlicous - An olive a day... February 6, 2007

The Guggenheim Museum has declared Italy to be the world's greatest cultural exporter and nowhere is this more evident than in Italy's pantry and the ever present olio d'oliva extra vergine which has followed Italian immigrants, their foods, wines and customs throughout the globe! Join grano's Roberto Dante Martella for this eno-socio-gastronomic event (wine, food and fun!) as he presents six Italian and two non-Italian olive oils in a menu of cicchetti (Venetian tapas with oil of the Veneto), antipasto mediterraneo farro (an ancient Roman grain), Mediterranean sea bass, and biscotti and olive oil cake.
