Winter Warmer - Benefit Concert for Mass Families in Need January 14, 2009

It's cold out. New Year's parties are over. We hear you, this is not our favorite time of year either. But here's the good news: Due to the incredible generosity of 12 local musicians/bands, we've all got something to look forward to.

What: Winter Warmer - a benefit concert for Mass families in need.

When: Next Wednesday, January 14 at 8pm

Where: Johnny D's in Davis Square, Somerville.

Cost: $20 at the door, which goes to United Way's Community Support Fund for emergency assistance. The fund is a response to the sharp increases in need seen across the Commonwealth due to the economic recession. 100% of funds received by the Community Support Fund will go directly to basic needs like food, rent and utility support for families in crisis.
