Winter Solstice Festival December 22, 2007

Red Butte's annual Winter Solstice Festival celebrates the new Solar Year and the return of the sun. Celebrate the turning point of the sun and bring warmth, light and cheerfulness into the dark time of the year. Ancient and traditional music, stories, dance, nature crafts and a bell ringing ceremony will be part of the celebration. Dress for the weather and participate in a hunt for yule logs to add to the bonfire.
