Why is a loggerhead turtle often referred to as a floating reef? And where was the wreckage of the USS Monitor found? Families and scouts alike will find the fascinating answers to these questions and others during Mystic Aquarium's Winter Scavenger Hunt Adventure on January 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn fun facts about the aquarium’s animals and exhibits as you search for answers to complete the hunt. Everyone who completes the adventure will receive an aquarium patch. The hunt is designed for kids ages 7 to 12. Participants may bring their own pencils and clipboards to make hunting easier.
