Winter on the Western Frontier December 10, 2010

Living history weekend. Set on an open hilltop, the military post at Fort Dobbs was a cold, lonely place to spend the winter. Learn how the provincial soldiers stationed at the fort deal with the harsh season and celebrate the Advent of Christmas. Demonstrations include on-going camp life, military drill, musket and cannon firings.
