Winter on the Western Frontier December 11, 2009

Set on an open hilltop, the military post at Fort Dobbs was a cold, lonely place to spend the winter. Learn how the provincial soldiers stationed at the fort deal with the harsh season and celebrate the Advent of Christmas. Demonstrations include ongoing camp life, military drill musket and cannon firings.
10-4 Saturday and Sunday.
A special candlelight program will be held at 6:30 pm Saturday evening.
