Winter Nature Adventures for Kids With Julia Attaway January 8, 2011

With educator and mom, Julia Attaway, kids will discover the natural wonders of Fort Tryon park in winter. Through playful, hands-on activities, kids will learn about nature in winter and see how the park's animals cope with its rigors. Primary focus will be on birds and mammals.Children must be accompanied by an parent or adult guardian. Suitable for children ages 4-6 years. The program will be accessible, however, persons with mobility issues may encounter difficilties as portions will require traveling on lawns (and perhaps snow).
