Winter Fine Arts Festival is being presented by Olde Englewood Village Association on December 4th and 5th, 2010 from 10am to 4pm each day on West Dearborn Street in charming "Olde Englewood Village".
Imagine yourself strolling through mid-town, which has been transformed into an "artists row". Then imagine yourself finding just the right pieces of artwork for those special people in your life. Picture how delighted you will be to have been able to find that special gift. This is an excellent holiday shopping opportunity. It is a special time when our sleepy town becomes a pedestrian-only artists village ready for strolling through the artists' booths to find that perfect gift. Unique shops, great restaurants and old-world charm make this the ideal place to welcome in the spirit of the holidays.
Expect to find an interesting and diversified group of artists participating. They come to us from Florida and many other parts of the United States. Some of international acclaim will also be featured. Overall mediums include: oil/acrylic; sculpture; water color; photography; fine craft; jewelry; mixed media; drawings/graphics; pottery/ceramics. On Sunday, December 5 from 11am to 4pm we will feature our piano artist Barbara Gomulka who will provide soft and soothing music such as standards, ballards and origi- nals while you enjoy the art festival.
Your donation of $1.00 at the gate supports our community projects. Plenty of free parking, easy access, food, fun and entertainment all await you. For more information please call Janet A. Landis, 941.468.4876.
