Winter Fest at Deer Valley February 5, 2011

Join Southern Utah University and the Dixie National Forest as they host the annual SUU Winter Fest. Held in February when the snow is deep, this day of winter bliss includes cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and air boarding, along with workshops on winter camping techniques and other outdoor skills. Winter Fest will be hosted on Utah Highway 14 east of Cedar City, at the Forest Service's new Deer Valley non-motorized winter recreation area.
