Explore fully restored WWII bomber and fighter aircraft inside and out. Even take to the skies in a once-in-a-lifetime flight experience over New Orleans. Come see fully restored WWII bomber and fighter aircraft at the Lakefront Airport in New Orleans March 9-11. A B-17G Flying Fortress, B-24J Liberator and P-51C Mustang will arrive on Friday, March 9 and will be on display through Sunday, March 11. Hours are 2pm to 5pm March 9; 10am to 5pm March 10; and 10am to 5pm March 11. Walk-through tours are available for $12 for Adults and $6 for Children. World War II Veterans get into tours free of charge. Once-in-a-lifetime flight experiences are available aboard all three aircraft. Flights aboard the B-17 and B-24 are a $425 donation. “Stick-Time” aboard the P-51 is a $2200/ $3200 donation depending on duration. All donations are tax deductible.
