Wing Wings Chicken Wing Eating contest! October 9, 2012

WHAT: Wing Wings Chicken Wing eating contest! A fundraiser benefitting Western Addition Beacon Center
WHEN: Tuesday October 9th, 6pm
WHERE: Lucky 13 Bar, 2140 Market Street at Church

Wing Wings first ever chicken wing eating contest will be a fundraiser benefitting the Western Addition Beacon Center.
Beacon is part of the Buchanan YMCA and administers after school, summer school and art programs at the John Muir Elementary School. There will be a timed contest to see who can eat the most Angry Korean wings in 10 minutes, as well as another competition that will see who can eat 10 hella hot wings the fastest. Pabst Blue Ribbon is co-sponsoring, offering $6 PB&J (PBR + a shot of Jameson) drink specials. Chuy Gomez from KMEL will be hosting, Judging by Miguel Escobedo from Papalote Mexican Grill and tunes spun by DJ Doc Fu.

There is a $5 suggested donation at the door; a $10 donation gets you an order of chicken wings! There will also be a raffle with gifts from local businesses.
