Wines of Chile at the Chilean Embassy April 16, 2009

We will tour the different wine regions of Chile and taste 9 interesting wines including such varietals as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and the up and coming signature grape of Chile: Carmenere. We will also focus on blends of these grapes and how they are becoming Chile's standout wines.

This tasting will be accompanied by light appetizers including Empanadas, Cheese, fruits, nuts, cookies, bread.
