Winery and Vineyard Tour September 22, 2012

Tours of Boordy begin in the vineyard to focus upon the culture of the grapevine, which is the foundation of the winemaker's art. Six varieties of grapes are cultivated in Boordy's home vineyard: chardonnay, pinot grigio, cabernet franc, seyval blanc, vidal blanc, and chambourcin. When the tour moves into the winery, the focus will shift to the winemaking process.
