The last Winemaker’s Dinner of the season is set to take place May 13, featuring B. R. Cohn Winery. The vineyard is located in the heart of Sonoma Valley, just one hour north of San Francisco. The night’s featured wines include a 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Silver Label, 2005 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and a selection of other fine red wines. Menu highlights include Seared Scallop Pineapple Butter and Crisp Shallots, Grilled Organic Irish Sea Trout and Roasted Sirloin of Beef. The cost is $85 per person plus tax and gratuity. The reception begins promptly at 6 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 520-917-2930.
