Wine Trip to Texas Hill Country Wine Region June 6, 2008

What makes Texas wines so pleasing? The Enchante' Wine Tasting Society and friends will travel to the source and find out. Please join us! We are planning our 2008 trip to wineries in the Texas Hill Country (Austin area)

Trip Activities: Enjoy dinner on Friday night. On Saturday, travel to 3 wineries for tours and winetasting and lunch. Dine on your own or with the group on Saturday evening. Enjoy Sunday on your own or with the group.

Getting There: Travel to Austin, Texas on your own (drive, fly, use your frequent flyer miles or take the train).

Hotel Arrangements:
Although the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark is sold out, you can still participate in the wine tour by finding your own hotel and making sure you are at the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark by 8:30am on Saturday, June 7th. Please send us an email and let us know your hotel arrangements and then you can sign up and pay for the tour. If you are looking for a roommate, please call us.

SUGGESTION: Call Hotels.com at 1-866-206-0014. Ask about the Comfort Suites Hotel which is located around the corner from the Omni. The booking agent says the hotel is 3 minutes walking distance from the Omni and 1 minute in a car. Alternatively, stay at a hotel of your choice.

Tour: Travel with us via motorcoach to several Texas vineyards and wineries where we will tour and sample wines. Tour departs from the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark on Saturday morning. You must pay tour fee (online or by mail) to EWTS by May 6, 2008. Your seat is reserved after you make your hotel reservations AND pay your tour fee. No tour fees will be accepted on the tour. Tour reservations will be made in order of receipt of fees.

EWTS Tour Fees:
Members: $45. Pay by 5/6/08
Non-members: $65. Pay by 5/6/08

EWTS Tour fee includes the following expenses for Saturday, June 7th: motorcoach travel to/from hotel and wineries, continental breakfast, tasting fees at wineries, and lunch.

For safety reasons, you must ride the motorcoach on the wine tour.
