Wine & Cheese Dinner with NYC's Fromager Max McCalman April 26, 2006

The Sports Club/LA Chef Series hosts Max McCalman of Artisanal Premium Cheese, nationally acclaimed Fromager, for an intimate and extraordinary cheese and wine education. The ?Vanguard of Cheese? is Maitre Fromager at Artisanal and Picholine restaurants in New York City, and has been featured on Food Network, The Today Show, CBS Evening News and in Wine Spectator among multiple national and international outlets. Sip the night away on delicious wines and the world?s finest artisan cheeses available, and discover marriages that suit your own personal taste.

McCalman?s recently published book, "Cheese, a Connoisseur?s Guide to the World?s Best," an expansive reference on the world's finest cheeses and wine-cheese pairings, will be available for sale and book signing. Max's first book, The Cheese Plate (Clarkson Potter Publishers, 2002) was nominated for awards by The James Beard Foundation and the International Association of Cooking Professionals.
