Name the Singapore Garden Festival mascots, and you could win for yourself a 16GB ipod touch worth $698. The three friends of the gardens – a bee, a grasshopper and a ladybird are to make their public appearance at the Chingay Parade of Dreams on 15 and 16 of February 2008. Organised by the National Parks Board (NParks), the SMS contest will kick off on 14 February and conclude on 15 March 2008.
To participate in the SMS contest, send an SMS to 92978551, and type in the following: Your name, IC number, followed by B - for Bee, G - for Grasshopper or L - for Ladybird and your suggested mascot name.
For example to submit an entry for the ladybird, please SMS: John Doe S1234567A B SGF Ladybug.
Each SMS to contain one suggested mascot name and there are no restrictions on the number of entries. The usual telco SMS charges apply and the public can log on to the Singapore Garden Festival website at www.singaporegardenfestival.com for other contest terms and conditions.
The mascots will appear on the Singapore Garden Festival Float themed “Another Season of Enchantment”. The float sports the trio enjoying themselves in the lush tropical garden made with 4,000 live flowers and plants. The float is also the first ever at Chingay to use all live flowers and plants for its decoration.
