Wilmington Chocolate Festival Showcase February 8, 2009

The 7th Annual Wilmington Chocolate Festival Chocolate Showcase continues on Sunday. Held each year on the weekend prior to Valenine's Day as a benefit for the local department of aging, this fun weekend event is definitely for "CHILDREN OF ALL AGES".
Enjoy samples of from over 35 of the region's finest purveyors of chocolates....fudge, truffles, bon bons, cookies, brownies, cakes, ice cream, chocolate-covered cherries, strawberries, bananas, potato chips, popcorn, pretzels, oreos, and sunflower seeds. Be sure to try "Pig Lickers" or Chocolate Bacon Brittle!!! All the rage with connesseurs of chocolate and curosity-seekers, they are combination of bacon and chocolate. You don't want to miss them!

The fun doesn't stop there. There's Raffles, Prizes, Balloons, Clowns, Magic, Roving Characters and fantastic activities for the "Kid in all of us". Visit our "Play Date Children's Area".
