Storyteller and photographer William Yang presents a moving account of two communities haunted by the shadows of history: Aboriginal people in outback Enngonia, and German migrants to South Australia interned during the World Wars. Part social documentary, part personal observation, Shadows brings these extraordinary stories to life through Yang’s intimate monologues and photo slides, eloquently underscored by Offord’s vocals and original instruments.
