Twelfth Night is Shakespeare's most charming comedy. Centered on his classic plot of separated twins and women disguised as men, it introduces us to Viola. Shipwrecked and separated from her brother she makes her way, dressed as a boy, in the service of Duke Orsino, whom she falls in love with. Her duty? To woo Olivia, the woman he loves, who of course in turn falls in love with Cesario, Viola's male alter ego. Thus, the play focuses on the many meanings of love. The sub-plots, which include the timeless comedic characters of the fool and the drunkard focus on a cunning plan to humiliate a pompous Puritan and on Viola's lost twin arriving to join in the romance. The play culminates in music, weddings and happy endings (for almost everyone!)Directed by Jonatha Kottler Date: January 15th - February 7th, 2010Performances:Fridays & Saturdays at 8 PM Sundays at 2 PM Reservations strongly recommended for all shows.Reservations: Call 898-9222Advance reservations are accepted onMonday - Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PMFriday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
