The Annual Conradin von Gugelberg Memorial Lecture on the Environment, prsented by the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Speaker William McDonough is an internationally renowned designer and one of the primary proponents of what he and his partners call "The Next Industrial Revolution." Mr. McDonough is cofounder and principal, with German chemist Michael Braungart, of McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry, LLC (www.mbdc.com) a product and systems development firm assisting client companies in implementing their unique sustaining design protocol. He is also the founding principal of William McDonough + Partners, Architecture and Community Design (www.mcdonoughpartners.com), an internationally recognized design firm practicing ecologically, socially, and economically intelligent architecture and planning in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. McDonough currently serves as the A. D. White Professor-at-Large at Cornell University and Alumni Research Professor at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
