Wildflower Weekend At Mounds State Park

WHAT: Celebrate the colors of spring by attending various wildflower activities at Mounds State Park
WHEN: Saturday, April 5

WHERE: Mounds State Park Visitor Center
WHO: All audiences are welcome. Children under age 16 are to be accompanied by an adult.
HOW: On the wildflower hikes, the naturalist examines some of the park’s beautiful spring flowers. Each hike focuses on different flowers. Learn identification and hear folklore. If raining, program is moved inside with a slide show of wildflowers. The Wildflower Suncatcher Workshop teaches people how to make a beautiful craft flower to hang in their window.
Activities are free, but admission to the park is $5.00 per car ($7.00 for out-of-state vehicles).
