Wildfish Seafood Grille, Newport Beach, has announced a new, delectable Prix- Fixe menu for Newport Beach’s Restaurant Week, Jan. 22 – 28, 2010, featuring a diverse three-course dinner for $35. Executive Chef Arturo Briones crafted the Prix-Fixe menu to offer choices that are not on the core restaurant menu for the dining event, including:
· First Course: Savory choices of Corn and Crab Chowder, Asian Pear Salad or Pan Roasted Mussels Oreganata.
· Main Course: Choice of Crisp Potato Crusted Haddock served with Brown Butter and Roasted Butternut Squash, Grilled Steelhead Trout with Fresh Green Beans, Shallots and Sundried Tomatoes, or Sautéed Gulf Shrimp “Scampi Style” garnished with Garlic, Scallion, Lemon and Sautéed Asparagus.
· Dessert: Choice of Wildfish’s signature Belgian Chocolate Mousse with Fresh Cream and Raspberry Sauce, Crème Brulee with Brown Sugar Crust and Homemade Cookies, or Fresh Seasonal Berries with Fresh Whipped Cream.
Wildfish also offers small side dishes for $3.95, including their signature Sugar Snap Peas with Portabella Mushrooms, Sautéed Spinach and Shallots, Sautéed Steak Mushrooms, Scalloped Potatoes Au Gratin or a Twice Baked Potato.
