Voices From the Back Room: Scary Stories, Supernatural Tales, & Slight Exaggerations on the Truth are an interactive storytelling & dramatic reading of works by Luisah Teish.
The audience is invited to take a long walk down the dark corridors of the mind & enter the backroom where deities, mythological creatures and humans experience ritual, humor and horror
(This event may not be suitable for impressionable infants and faint-hearted adults)
Location: Moss Beach (10 minutes North of Half Moon Bay)
Cost: $20 (creative payment options available)
Luisah Teish is a writer, performer and ritual priestess. She is the author of several books on African and African American Spiritual Culture and Feminist Myth. Ms. Teish designs & conducts weddings, naming ceremonies, memorials, & a host of seasonal celebrations. A resident of the Bay Area for thirty years, Ms. Teish has been actively involved in teaching transformation, working to insure justice and peacekeeping.
